Do remanufactured cartridges void my printer's warranty?

It is illegal for a printer manufacturer to require you to use any particular brand of supplies. An OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) cannot void your warranty unless they can conclusively prove that other brands of supplies will damage the machine. To enforce a policy such as this is in direct violation of the Sherman & Clayton Antitrust Acts.

How do remanufactured cartridges help the environment?

Yes! Each empty laser printer cartridge adds approximately three pounds of waste to our landfills that will take as long as ten centuries to decompose. It is estimated that 100 million laser toner cartridges and 400 million inkjet cartridges are produced worldwide each year. Remanufacturing these 500 million cartridges will save an estimated 4 million cubic feet of landfill space. The printer cartridge remanufacturing industry has made and will continue to contribute a substantial positive input upon the environment and the economy wherever it exist. Today, more than 40 percent of all American businesses, 35 percent of all European businesses, use remanufactured cartridges. See About Remanufactured Cartridges for more information.

Yes, all Top Toner cartridges are filled to capacity - usually exceeding OEM standards. All HP remanufactured products are the 'A' or 'AN' version even though they may be noted as 'D' or 'DN.' Cartridges are filled to capacity regardless of the letter behind the numbers.

What does the suffix stand for in HP cartridges and will either one fit my printer?

The suffixes in HP cartridges refer to the amount of ink inside a cartridge. They are for all intents and purposes the same exact cartridge regardless of what letter they have behind the numbers. A 'G' cartridge is a starter cartridge that usually comes when you first buy a printer. It normally does not have more than 19ml of ink. A 'D', or 'DN' cartridge has a little more ink than a 'G' cartridge and an 'A' or 'AN' is usually a full capacity cartridge. Because all Top Toner cartridges are filled to capacity, they are all the 'A' version.
(Lexmark cartridges have a similar notation for full capacity cartridges. A full capcity version of the 12A1970 black cartridge would be a 12A1975 and a full capacity version of a 17G0060 would be 17G0065, etc.)
